| gosh. it's hot out. i want some ice cream.
well, i finished that dang new HP book like tuesday. yes, i know i'm a slow reader. leave me alone. now for my spoiler-spoiler of the libro.
the new HP book was sort of a disappointment. i mean, i liked it and all, but it wasn't what i thought it would be, i suppose. it wasn't like the other previous books. it was more of a set-up for the seventh book, really. there was a lot hidden in the whole Snape killing Dumbledore thing. well, that's what i think. Dumbledore wouldn't have been telling Harry all of that information if Dumbledore didn't know he wouldn't been there in the future to help Harry any longer. Dumbly knew more than he let's up to knowing. Snape's not a traitor in my opinion. he's just following orders from Dumbly 'cause he respects Dumbly. he had to stay on Voldy's good side in some way to spy. when Dumbly was so-called "pleading" to Snape, i believe he was pleading for Snape to go on a kill him rather than to save his life. Dumbly said himself he wasn't afraid of death. the long pause between the two staring at each other could have been them communicating through their minds, them being masters at that stuff and all. oh yea, Snape had argued with Dumbly about not wanting to do something Dumbly wanted him to do, all overheard by Hagrid. Snape could have been refusing to have to kill Dumbly when it came time. Dumbly knew that Draco had to kill him, but Dumbly didn't want Draco to be a murderer at such a young age. and if Draco failed, he would be killed by Voldy and Snape would die 'cause of the Vow. Dumbly was sacrificing himself for the lives of others. Draco isn't necessary naturally evil, is he? he's just all talk and a sissy. they knew he wouldn't be able to kill Dumbly from the start. i feel sympathic towards Draco. him being forced to do evil deeds when all he wants is for his family to be safe from harms way. plus, he was crying in the bathroom and talking to Moaning Myrtle. also, up on the tower, he did seem to be considering what Dumbly was telling him and he was slowly put down his wand until those darn death-eaters came. when Harry and Snape were "dueling," i think Snape was trying to tip Harry about how to go about casting spells for future purposes. you know, without speaking. Snape was saying how Harry was so predictable 'cause he was shouting out the spells and that he need to shut his mouth and use his mind or whatever. obviously Harry didn't catch that. now everyone thinks Snape's a traitor. just like Sirius, but Sirius was innocent to begin with. i still don't think Snape's a traitor. Dumbly did trust him, you know. yea, that's my view of the best parts of the book.
on another note. i was supposed to go get a new passport on monday, but my mom did have her car with her so that was a no-go. the car was in the shop...again. gosh, that piece of junk. there's always something wrong with that thing. and my mom wanted me to get that car so she could have a new one. i don't think so. that's just an accident waiting to happen. anyways, i was wondering why my mom wanted me to get a new passport seeing as though i probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon out of the country. i wish, though. maybe she has something planned that i don't know about? she doesn't that sometimes, you know. i was thinking if she was actually planning on go to michigan again or something next year. if she does so and i'm with her, we had better go to canada seeing as i will have a passport this time in hand. that's it. i've written too much. later. |
